Piano lessons
Piano Lessons For Kids, Teens, And Adults
Piano is one of the best starting points for a new music student (ages 5 through adults in their 60s+) because it builds rhythm, note reading, coordination, ear training, and a clear understanding of how music works. Adkins piano teachers work with young beginners, returning students, teens preparing for school music, and adults finally making time for the instrument they always wanted to learn.
Guitar lessons
Guitar Lessons That Keep Students Excited
Acoustic, electric, and bass guitar lessons at Adkins start with clean chord changes, strumming, and favorite songs or move into lead playing, fingerstyle, music theory, improvisation, and stage performance. Founded by 2017 National Guitar Competition winner Zachary Adkins, our guitar program builds real fundamentals while helping students play music they actually care about.
Voice lessons
Voice Lessons For Confidence, Control, And Performance
Private vocal and singing lessons help students build pitch accuracy, breath support, tone, vocal range, stage presence, and healthy singing technique. Adkins vocal coaches work with beginners, musical theatre and show choir students, all-state auditioners, worship singers, pop vocalists, and adults in an encouraging one-on-one studio setting.
Drums lessons
Drum Lessons With Energy And Structure
Private drum and percussion lessons are built for students who want rhythm, coordination, focus, and a teacher who channels energy into real musical skill. Students learn stick control, timing, groove, drum notation, fills, rock/pop/jazz styles, and confidence behind a full drum kit.
More instruments
Violin, Flute, Bass Guitar, Band Instruments, And More
Adkins also teaches private violin lessons, flute lessons, bass guitar, ukulele, percussion, and school band or orchestra instruments (clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, cello, and viola) depending on teacher availability at Omaha, Gretna, Bellevue, and Elkhorn. Students can prepare for school band chairs, youth orchestra auditions, or annual recitals.

Questions families ask before starting
How much do music lessons cost at Adkins Music Lessons?
Tuition is published and all-inclusive: $50 per private 30-minute one-on-one session ($200/month for four weekly lessons), $45/session ($180/month) for military families or families enrolling 2–3 students, and $40/session ($160/month) for families with 4+ students. There is no registration fee, annual student recitals are included at no extra cost, and any 5th lesson week in a calendar month becomes a free built-in makeup lesson.
Are we locked into a contract?
No. We have no long-term contracts and no registration fees. Lessons are billed month to month, so families stay because their student is thriving—never because of a binding annual contract. Full enrollment details are outlined in our Terms of Service.
How are teachers vetted and what safety measures are in your studios?
Every instructor across our 37+ background-checked instructors completes a background check before teaching at Adkins Music Lessons. Every private lesson room features a security camera and door window, and parents are always welcome in our studio lobbies during lessons.
